Faculty of Animal Science Enlivens Indo Livestock 2023 Expo & Forum International Exhibition

The Faculty of Animal Science, Universitas Brawijaya (Fapet UB) participates in the international exhibition Indo Livestock 2023 Expo and Forum. Namely the largest exhibition in the livestock and animal feed industry which was held at the Grand City Convex (GCC) Surabaya, Wednesday – Friday (26-28/7/2023).
As an educational institution, the Faculty of Animal Science booth presents the work of lecturers in collaboration with students and partners. Such as livestock books, feed formulation software, livestock supplements, DOC (day old chick). As well as livestock products which include honey, yogurt, rabbit skin, UHT milk, chicken eggs from teaching farm products, salted eggs and smoked salted eggs.
Visitors came from all walks of life, from students, businessmen, industry, to government agencies. They are enthusiastic about getting more detailed information about the products offered. Some of them even offered to do partnership cooperation.

One of the best-selling products is herbal nutritional additives and livestock antibiotics called bio-herbs. Product functions produced with partners CV. Yadira Sehat Berkah functions to balance the calories of digestive bacteria, maintain the stability of the natural pH of the livestock system, improve feed conversion and efficiency, kill larvae, maintain liver health, withstand weather changes, natural antioxidants, organic growth promoters, and decomposing feces.
The opening of the exhibition was carried out by PT. Napindo Media Ashatama together with the Vice Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Indonesia, Ir. Harvick Hasnul Qolbi. According to him, even though the Central Statistics Agency noted that the agricultural sector experienced positive growth in the first quarter of 2023, the Government still needs to continue to work on increasing the production of various agricultural commodities and collaboration with various related parties.
