Inauguration of the Student Representative Council, Student Executive Board, and Faculty of Animal Science Student Activity Units for the 2023 period

The Faculty of Animal Science Universitas Brawijaya (Fapet UB) held an inauguration of the management of the Student Sovereignty Institute (LKM) and Student Activity Unit (UKM), Tuesday (17/1/2023). The management regeneration for the 2023 period has been determined from the results of the student general election (pemilwa) and then ratified through a Dean’s Decree.

The LKM consists of the Student Representative Council (MPM), Student Representative Council (DPM), and Student Executive Body (BEM). Meanwhile, UKM are units that accommodate student creativity to develop their interests and talents. UB Faculty of Animal Husbandry has several UKM, such as a scientific institution called the Student Scientific Group (KIM), in the field of Entrepreneurial Succession of People (BOS), sports (FASCO), home band (Kandang Musik), journalism (Mafaterna), development of English language skillsEnglish Garden Prosperity (EGP), theater (Cowboy Theatre), and nature lovers (PENA).

The event was opened by the Dean, Prof. Suyadi accompanied by Deputy Dean III, Dr. Agus Susilo. She said so that these elected student representatives can accommodate the voices and complaints of other Fapet UB students. Besides that, as a legislative administrator, academics should remain a top priority.

Based on the Dean’s Decree number 10 of 2023 concerning the functional composition of the Student Executive Board (BEM) it was determined that Diky Ade Pratama as President and Asifa Meila as Vice President. Meanwhile, according to the Dean’s Decree number 11 of 2023, the management of the Student Representative Council are M. Ikhsan, Assifa Nurlaillia, Jaudin Rahmat, M. Rizki Akbar, Imam Syafii, Joy Jacob Agusto Sinaga, and Swandra Buulolo.

Meanwhile, the UKM heads are based on the Dean’s Decree number 9 of 2023, including Afif Febrianto (PENA), M. Johan Futohar (KIM), Daffa Haidar Fawwas (BOS), and Rizka Jaya Putrawan (FASCO). (dta)
