Towards the implementation of the odd semester final exams (UAS) for the 2022/2023 academic year, the Faculty of Animal Science, Universitas Brawijaya (Fapet UB) held a coordination meeting, Thursday (8/12/2022). Taking place in the senate meeting room lt.6 Gd.V, the event was chaired by Deputy Dean I, Prof. M. Halim Natsir.
Halim said the UAS score had a big influence on the final score, which was 50%. Therefore, examinees are expected to maximize their abilities and obey the rules. If a participant violates the rules during the exam, the supervisor can record an error in the report which can be fatal to the score.
“The most frequently found violation is the use of a mobile phone (HP), even though before starting the exam the supervisor had warned to turn off the cellphone and put it in the bag.” said one of the supervisors
However, since online learning was implemented in 2020, some of the exam methods have been online. This means that questions and work are done via gadgets, but participants are still required to come offline. So that students are more orderly and minimize the possibility of fraud being committed.
“I hope students comply with the rules for administering the exam. Because these rules are made to train discipline and know the abilities of each individual.” said Halim (dta)
