3 in 1 Guest Lecture with Practitioners from the National Research and Innovation Agency

Students from the Animal Science undergraduate program, Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Universitas Brawijaya (Fapet UB) attend a guest lecture with practitioners from the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN), Friday (18/11/2022). Participants numbered 20 students who were taking semester 7 and were carrying out research. The topic of the lecture is food and feed security.

The material was delivered by Aditya, Ph.D. She discussed security issues that are still hot for researchers, academics and the general public. According to him, food products from livestock are expected to have a guarantee of safety for consumers, such as eggs, milk and meat. 

Steps to produce food products originating from livestock that are safe and healthy must pay attention to aspects of livestock farming management. Includes maintenance elements of feeding and cage biosecurity. Besides that, he also discussed a lot and gave ideas on research parameters in accordance with current developments in the livestock industry and science and technology. (asr/dta)
