Doctoral Program in Animal Science Achieves Excellent Accreditation Predicate

The Decree of the Director of the Executive Board of the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT) states that the Doctoral Program (S3) in Animal Science, Faculty of Animal Science, Universitas Brawijaya (Fapet UB) has received excellent accreditation. Valid from 27 September 2022 according to Decree No. 6495/SK/BAN-PT/Ak.KP/D/IX/2022. 

Based on the official website of BAN PT (banpt.org.id), being accredited superior means exceeding the National Higher Education Standards, through the results of interactions between criteria that bring study programs or universities to achieving competitiveness at the international level. Higher education accreditation ranking consists of accredited good, very good, and excellent.

On the other hand, the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Prof.Dr. M. Halim Natsir, S.Pt.,MP,IPM.,ASEAN Eng. said the benefits of superior accreditation were to demonstrate the quality of education and ensure credibility. As well as supporting higher education accreditation, because UB has already been accredited as superior. (dta)
