General Manager of Technical Information System PT. Charoen Pokphand Indonesia, Bhinuko Setrodimedjo,S.Pt. became a practitioner lecturer at the Faculty of Animal Science, Universitas Brawijaya (Fapet UB), Friday (23/9/2022). He filled the Livestock Industry System course for students of the class of 2020.
Located in the Auditorium room on the 8th floor, Bhinuko gave lectures on the poultry industry system. According to him, the industry is a business model that is modern-scale n with a structured organization. As well as being able to innovate and see opportunities to generate additional income.
“Doing business has three meanings, the first is to create something, the second is to provide services, and the third is creative, innovative, and entertainment science. Examples of poultry business lines include feed mills, breeding, commercial stocks, shlaughter houses, seeds, and animal health,” explained Bhinuko.
Meanwhile, the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Prof. M. Halim Natsir said, the collaborative class learning method between lecturers and practitioner lecturers is one of the implementations of the program independent campus competition (PKKM). The goal is to provide students with insight into aspects and mechanization of supporting technologies in companies. So that it will produce graduates who are ready to face industrialization and entrepreneurship.
“This lecture is a means of practicing to dare to have an opinion, speak in front of the public, not only in front of the UB Faculty of Agriculture lecturers. Because this can be your (student)’s provision when facing the world of work later.” explained Halim (dta)
