UB  Lecturer Wins Best Patent Writer  Award in Patent Application Description Writing Training

Dr. Dedes Amertaningtyas, S.Pt., MP, a lecturer at the Faculty of Animal Science, Universitas Brawijaya (Fapet UB) received the best patent writer award in the  2022  patent  application description writing training  event, Tuesday – Thursday  (6-8/9/2022). He wrote about “The Process  of Making Protein  Hydrocylates from Cowhide Gelatin  with Trypsin Enzyme.”

In this activity, two other UB  lecturers also received the same award.  Namely Dr. Elvina Dhiaul Iftitah, S.Si., M.Si (Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences majoring in Chemistry) and Dr.  Uun Yanuhar, S.Pi, M.Si, (Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences).

The training activity  was initiated by the  Directorate of Research, Technology and Community Service (DRTPM) in order to increase the competence capacity of  lecturers and researchers.  In collaboration with the University of Surabaya (UBAYA) the purpose of   the activity is to build the understanding and ability of researchers and institutions in order to  produce patent-oriented research. Located at the Best Western Papilio Hotel Surabaya, the training was attended by 82 participants from PTN and PTS from all over Indonesia.

The event was opened by  UBAYA Rector, Dr. Ir. Benny lianto, M.M.B.A.T accompanied by Prof. Dr.Ir. M.  Faiz Syuaib, M.Agr. IPU. (Director of DRTPM), and Prof. Suyanto, Ph.D (Chairman of LPPM Ubaya as well as all activities).  While the  speakers were a team from the Directorate General of   Intellectual Property, namely Hanim Mafulah, S.Farm., Apt. and Juldin Bahriansyah, ST., M.Si,
