Probin and PKBR to Form New Student Attitudes 

A series of activities to introduce campus life for new students (PKKMB) at the Faculty of Animal Science Universitas Brawijaya (Fapet UB) continues until the end of the odd semester of TA. 2022/2023. But the implementation is every Saturday and Sunday only. 

 These activities are called the coaching program (Probin) and Religious-Based Character Development (PKBR). Probin aims to foster students in participating in academic activities, socializing the ethics of campus life, building self-character, and cooperation. While PKBR is to increase devotion to God Almighty.

The event was opened by the Dean, Prof. Suyadi was marked by beating the gong on Saturday (10/9/2022). Taking place in the Gd.I field, the event began with the dhuha prayer in congregation and reading the Koran for Muslim students. Meanwhile, for non-Muslims, classrooms are provided to perform worship based on their respective religions.

Suyadi said that these two activities were prepared for new students to shape their attitudes. In order to cultivate character and personality with good morals, so that they will become students who are not only based on academic aspects. 

After that, they were gathered together again in the field to follow the motivational material by dr. Arief Alamsyah (Lecturer of UB Faculty of Medicine). (dta)
