Welcome 84 New Postgraduate Students Fapet Holds a Coordination Meeting

Postgraduate Programs at the Faculty of Animal Science Universitas Brawijaya (Fapet UB) for the academic year 2022/2023 accepts 84 new students consisting of 71 Masters Program students and 13 Doctoral Program students.

Welcoming and introduction events wrapped in educational and student orientation (ordik) will be held on Thursday (1/9/2022) offline. As a preparatory step, the Head of the Masters Study Program, Dr.Ir. Tri Eko Susilorini, MP,IPM.,ASEAN Eng led the Ordik preparation meeting, Wednesday (24/8/2022).

She said that the Ordik event will be filled with introductions to the ranks of leaders, professors, teaching staff, and staff of the Postgraduate Program of Faculty of Animal Science UB. As well as service procedures, learning, and curriculum.

In addition, the explanation of the writing and publication of journals will be delivered by the Professor of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Bogor Agricultural University (IPB), Prof. Dr. sc. ETH. Anuraga Jayanegara, S.Pt., M.Sc, who was present online.

“Based on the Chancellor’s regulations, published scientific journals are one of the requirements for taking the final exam for both master and doctoral programs. So it is hoped that it can improve the ranking of universities with many national and international scientific publications.” concluded Tri Eko as chairman of the executive committee (dta)
