Closing of PKKMB 2022 Fapet Invites New Students to Drink Milk Together

Data from the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Indonesia shows that milk consumption in Indonesia from 2016 to 2022 has increased by 14%. However, when compared to other ASEAN countries, this figure is still far behind. 

In fact, milk is an animal product that has perfect nutritional value. Such as protein, fat, carbohydrates, vitamins, minerals, and complete amino acid content. Milk has a myriad of benefits for various ages, from infants to the elderly. Protein in milk is the best nutritional intake and nutrition to complement the lack of nutrients from daily food sources. 

Being part of the livestock actors, it is proper to know the benefits of livestock products, and get used to consuming them. The content in milk is very good for students and students, because it can educate the brain and repair tissue cells. 

This was conveyed by the Dean of the Faculty of Animal Science Universitas Brawijaya (Fapet UB), Prof. Suyadi, at the closing of the Introduction to Campus Life for New Students (PKKMB), Sunday (21/8/2022). Together with the deans, he invited new students to drink milk together.

“Milk is one of the livestock products that has a million benefits. As animal husbandry students, you should be proud because the product you are studying is needed by all of humanity.” explained Suyadi

Then the event continued with the release of the attributes and the embedding of the alma mater coat to the new student representatives. And the release of balloons into the air by the Dean which means high hopes to reach sky-high goals.

“By wearing an alma mater coat, the status of a student changes to that of a student. Which means that the mindset, behavior, and responsibility are also different, based on the tri dharma of higher education, namely education, research, and community service. So that a generation that has critical, creative, and innovative thinking will be born.” he said (dta)
