Fapet Dedicates Kampung Susu Song to Magetan Regency

Magetan Regency is one of the regions in East Java Province which is famous for its tourism destinations of Telaga Sarangan and Mount Lawu. The hiking trail of Mount Lawu can go through Singolangu Village, Plaosan District, which is located not far from the Sarangan lake for about 3 km.

Singolangu is in the hills, so the air temperature and humidity levels tend to be low. The majority of the population makes a living as farmers and dairy farmers. So that this area has the potential to be developed as a tourist destination for milk villages.

The Faculty of Animal Science, Universitas Brawijaya (Fapet UB) 2019 has provided counseling and assistance regarding livestock management. Then in 2022 Fapet also deployed its students through the Thematic Real Work Lecture (KKNT) activities to develop independent livestock villages in Magetan Regency.

KKNT activities were carried out from June 28 to July 28, 2022, which were welcomed by the Magetan Regency government and its community. At the closing ceremony, Fapet UB presented a song about the milk village, as an effort to develop the dairy industry and tourism in Magetan Regency.

This Javanese song was handed over to the Regent of Magetan by Vice Dean I, the copyright was opened as widely as possible to support the development of the milk village in Singolangu.
