The Directorate of Student Affairs, Alumni, and Student Entrepreneurship Universitas Brawijaya (UB) together with the Religious Arts Student Activity Unit (UKM) held a Musabaqah Tilawatil Quran (MTQ) XV. Namely competitions related to art and knowledge according to the values contained in the Qur’an.
This event was held to develop soft skills and to recruit representatives who would be sent to participate in the national MTQ. The activity was held for three days, Friday-Sunday (17-19/6/2022) spread across several faculties.
UB’s Faculty of Animal Science (Fapet) is located in the category of Musabaqah Writing Al-Quran (MKTA) and Musabaqah Fahmil Quran. KTIA participants were followed by 10 teams which were representatives from each faculty. While the KTIA jury in charge was Drs. Mohammad Misbah Khunur, M.Si and Drs. H. Syamsul Arifin, M. Ag.
The overall participants of the competition were 151 people with various categories. Such as Musabaqah Tartil Quran, Musabaqah Tilawatil Quran, Musabaqah Syarhill Quran, Musabaqah KTIA, Musabaqah Kahttil Quran Decoration and Contemporary, Musabaqah DAQ, Musabaqah Fahmil Quran, Musabaqah Hifdzil Quran 5 to 30 chapters, as well as Arabic and English Scientific Debate Musabaqah.
