Students The Student Executive Board (BEM) of the Faculty of Animal Science Universitas Brawijaya (Fapet UB) through the Ministry of Advocacy and Student Welfare (Advokesma) held a talk show, Sunday (12/6/2022). The activity which was carried out in a hybrid way carried the theme “Growing the Spirit and Knowledge of Fapet UB Students in the Era of Society 5.0 with the Merdeka Campus Program.
The opening was carried out by the Vice Dean III, Dr. Agus Susilo, S.Pt.,MP,IPM.,ASEAN Eng. He said the independent campus is part of independent learning, which provides opportunities for students to hone skills according to their talents and interests by going directly into the world of work. The goal is to prepare skills and insights before pursuing a career in the future.
Meanwhile,the resource persons are Fapet UB students who are alumni of the Merdeka Learn Independent Campus (MBKM) program with different interests. Among them, M. Syahrial Hanif who has attended the MBKM campus teaching, Dwi Cahya Putra with an Internship program and Certified Independent Studies (MSIB), and Dara Natalia Purba in the Farming for the Country (BUN) program.
They take turns introducing their respective programs that are followed. As well as sharing experiences and tips and tricks to qualify to join the MBKM program.
The teaching campus is a program initiated by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology in collaboration with the Directorate of Elementary Schools and the Directorate of Learning and Student Affairs. The goal is to provide opportunities and challenges for students facing the pandemic period to develop themselves in order to provide an equitable education. Through this program, Hanif was placed at SDN Gayam 2 Kediri for five months, from August 2 to December 17, 2021. Together with Dr. Dedes Amertaningtyas, S.Pt. MP as a supervisor. He created a work program called reading corner, namely Project Based Learning , adaptation of administrative technology and management of E-Learning.
Meanwhile, the MSIB program is intended for students who want to equip themselves by mastering specific and practical competencies that are also sought after by the business world and the industrial world (dudi). Meanwhile, the BUN program aims to improve maintenance management so that it can increase the livestock productivity index through assistance to farmers by BUN participants. (dta)
