Prepare for Excellent Accreditation for Postgraduate Program Teams Finalize Conversion Supplementary Instruments (ISK)

Postgraduate Program Faculty of Animal Science Universitas Brawijaya (Fapet UB) Masters (S2) and Doctoral (S3) Animal Science Study Programs apply for superior accreditation. Namely the national accreditation determined by the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN PT) where the predicate value is above A. 

Currently both study programs have been accredited by BAN PT with an A value which is valid until 2023. If PPS Fapet UB succeeds in obtaining superior accreditation then there is no need to renew or extend the accreditation every five years. 

The application for accreditation is done by submitting a conversion supplement instrument (UTI) document which contains four criteria. The master’s program consists of permanent lecturers of study programs, curriculum, quality assurance and exceeding SN Dikti, as well as tracer studies. However, the doctoral program includes permanent lecturers of study programs, curriculum, quality assurance and exceeding SN Dikti, as well as student publications in reputable international journals.

The target for sending documents will be in June 2022. So that the accreditation team finalized the UTI, Thursday (2/6/2022) at the Grand Mercure Hotel Malang. The activity was opened and led by Deputy Dean I, Prof.Dr. M. Halim Natsir, S.Pt.,MP,IPM.,ASEAN Eng.

He said the benefits of superior accreditation are showing the quality of education and guaranteeing credibility. Besides that, it can support higher education accreditation, because UB has already been accredited as superior. (dta)
