PKBR Meeting 3 & 4: Love of the Qur’an and Love of the Apostle

PKBR Meeting 3 & 4: Love of the Qur’an and Love of the Apostle

Monday, 14 March 2022
Oleh : Humas FapetUB

Loving and contemplating the contents of the Qur’an is a form of a servant’s love and gratitude towards Allah SWT because this Muslim holy book is proof that Allah SWT loves all His people, which is manifested in several prohibitions and commands.

The Qur’an is the word of God that will never run out and will always apply in human life even though it constantly changes according to the times. Reading one verse will provide shade for the reader in the hereafter. What a loss for those who are reluctant to read the Qur’an, even though all human journeys are arranged so beautifully in it.

Mudzakkir Abdurrahman, Lc, conveyed this. in the third meeting of Reality-Based Character Development (PKBR), Saturday (12/3/2022). The man who once won the 30 Juz Memorizing Branch at the National MTQ of the Saudi Embassy in Jakarta conveyed about “Ethics Against the Love of the Quran.”

According to him, Muslims are obliged to study religion, especially to learn the Qur’an as a guide and guide to the truth. As stated in the verse of the letter Al-Baqarah verse 2, which means “the Book of Al-(Qur’an), there is no doubt in it; (it is) a guide for the pious.”

“The greatness of the Qur’an in one’s life is unquestionable, through the verses of the Qur’an Allah will protect a person from bad deeds and the complexity of a problem,” said Mudzakkir

“If they love of the Qur’an is planted in the human heart, every step and deed will be more careful and guard your tongue before saying something. Loving the Qur’an makes the heart of every human being more controlled to comply with worldly desires. Love the Qur’an and believe that every verse will accompany our journey in this world to the hereafter.” Meanwhile

, at the fourth meeting, the theme “Imitating the Morals of the Prophet as a Form of Apostle’s Love in Running Life” was presented by the Professor of Arabic Language, Maulana Malik Ibrahim UIN, Prof. Dr. Uril Bahruddin, MA

He said that “Whoever is better today than yesterday is a lucky person, whoever is not better than yesterday is a loser, whoever is worse today than yesterday, that person is deceived.

There are several steps to loving the apostle, including following his sunnah, praying a lot, mentioning the prophet, longing to meet the apostle, loving the book revealed to him, studying, reading, and making it a guide in life.

Reality-Based Character Development (PKBR) is one of the Student Activity Units (UKM) in the Faculty of Animal Science Universitas Brawijaya (Fapet UB). It aims to guide new students regarding character with a religious foundation. It can improve students’ ability to think critically. Regular PKBR meetings are held every Saturday. (tim/dta)
