Through MBKM, Faculty of Animal Husbandry UB Students Contribute to Developing the Potential of Tourism Villages in West Java

Dina Marliana, a student of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry Universitas Brawijaya (Fapet UB) participates in the Independent Pigijo Vanguard Internship Program for Tourism Village. This activity is the implementation of Merdeka Learning Campus Merdeka (MBKM) which will be carried out from January 17 to February 15 2022.

Pigijo collaborates with the Nusantara Tourism Village (Dewisnu) West Java which focuses on three tourist villages in the Sukabumi area. Namely, Raden Village – Cisande Village, Lahang Village – Gede Pangrango Tourism Village, and Palapah Cultural Village – Waluran Village.

The apprentices live side by side with the villagers to learn about the character and the surrounding conditions. As an effort to develop the potential of the village through digitalization as a marketing tool.

Dina or commonly called Marel, became the head of the Cisande Tourism Village internship group. Together with his team, he conducted research on the potential of natural resources and human resources, as well as innovating both digital and non-digital. Besides that, it also held several activities, such as division socialization, Barudak school, parents’ school, and events.

Then in the future they will innovate to make Cisande Tourism Village tour packages that can be ordered online at the pigijo.com website.

Pigijo is a Tourism Village marketplace in Indonesia as a promotional media for Tourism Villages. So that besides being profitable for the world of Indonesian tourism, it also improves the welfare of the local community around the Tourism Village. (dta)
