Strengthening Faith and Spreading Love, PKM Ekklesia Holds Evening Prayer

Christian Student Fellowship (PMK) Ekklesia Faculty of Animal Science Universitas Brawijaya (Fapet UB) held an online evening prayer, Tuesday (15/2/2022). The routine activity every Tuesday night aims to strengthen faith by deepening the Bible and establishing a bond of love between Christian students through short worship services. In addition, sharing is also carried out between members. So that Christian students can get to know each other and make PMK a place of brotherhood to share.

This time the theme is Vaccines (Valentine=Love=God), (1 John 4:19), (John 13:34) which was delivered by Ariel Nickholas Gultom, a member of PKM Ekklesia. According to him Valentine is a commemoration of the day of love to those we love. However, loving is not only limited to February 14th. Because the Lord Jesus gave the command to humans to love one another, no matter what religious background, ethnicity, color or physical background.

“Many people who previously did not know God became close to God, because they saw the extraordinary love of a person, which made him wonder why that person had such love, so that love led him to know Love itself, namely God. ” Ariel explained

“God commands us to love one another, but we must always remember that Lord Jesus first loves us sinners. For that we must always put God first in everything, above family, friends, or partners. Put God at number 1, because God is Love, and with God’s love we love our neighbor whoever he is, whatever the background, what form, we must love as God has loved and forgiven us.” he concluded (dta)
