Discussing Academic Management and HR in PTNBH, UB Faculty of Animal Husbandry Lecturers Visit UNS and UGM

Faculty of Animal Science Universitas Brawijaya (Fapet UB) lecturers visit the Agriculture Faculty of Sebelas Maret University (UNS) and the Faculty of Animal Husbandry Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), Tuesday – Friday (25 -28/1/2022). The visit was for benchmarking and discussions on academic management, laboratory management, faculty business units, and human resource management at State Universities with Legal Entities (PTN BH).

Because UB has officially become a PTN BH since October 2021, while UGM and UNS first won the title, namely in 2012 for UGM and 2020 for UNS, PTN BH is a state university established by the government with the status of an autonomous legal subject. Therefore, the hope is that universities can develop and innovate faster.

The advantage of being a PTN BH is that you can open a new Study Program or close it when deemed no longer needed. In terms of finances and staffing, it can be managed independently.(dta)
