Curriculum Socialization for Class 2020 Students

Faculty of Animal Science Universitas Brawijaya (Fapet UB) held online socialization about class 2020 students’ curriculum on Tuesday (3/8/2021). The activity led by Prof. M. Halim Natsir (Vice Dean I) with Dr. Herly Evanuarini (Head of Undergraduate Study Program) was attended by 518 students.

In his speech, Prof. Halim said that the class of 2020 is the first batch where the curriculum is based on Outcome Based Education (OBE), Merdeka Learning Campus Merdeka (MBKM), and the industrial revolution 4.0.

This means that the learning curriculum is different from the previous generations. The implementation of OBE, MBKM, and the industrial revolution 4.0 is carried out to equalize the ability of human resources (HR) to compete from various professional fields and expertise with minimum standards of learning outcomes.

Therefore, changing the curriculum is expected to improve the quality of graduates and explore student competencies. To produce outcomes that are ready to face industrialization, ready to use for industry and entrepreneurship. (dta)
