University of Brawijaya (UB) Students who are members of the Karsa Cipta Student Creativity Program (PKM-KC) team created the application My Police. They consisted of Zuhdan Alaik (Faculty of Animal Science/2019), Aufa Fajrul Hikmah (Faculty of Law/2018), Enny Lisdayanti Hasanah (Faculty of Administrative Sciences/2018), Abdul Munir Roja’i (Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences/2018), and M. Kharis Abdurrohman (Faculty of Computer Science/2019).
Supervised by Fapet lecturer, Dr. Premy Puspitawati Rahayu, S.Pt.,MP, My Police is an application with several service features to make it easier for people to manage documents in the police and monitor accidents. As well as bringing the police closer to the community to increase the perspective of the police in the eyes of the community.
The application is integrated with Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) technology and Android-based Ultrasonic Sensors. With VoIP technology, people can simply interact via telephone with the police through an application without credit fees. Given the current pandemic, the phone feature in the application is beneficial in online police services.
Team leader Zuhdan Alaik explained that in the application My Police, there are seven main features. First, there is the Main Page, which is used to log in to access this application. Second, there is Halo Police, where people can contact the police according to their needs, such as crime reports, disaster response reports, firefighters, and safety guidelines. As well as providing information about the location of the nearest police station, emergency room, and gas station.
“In the halo feature, the police also serve the Covid-19 response as a form of police concern during the Covid-19 outbreak. The police will work together with the nearest Puskesmas, clinic, or hospital to optimize health and security services to the community,” he said
The third feature is the E-Tilang, which shows the flow of the ticketing process, starting from the date of the trial, the place of the trial, to the fine that must be paid. Users can access information related to the District Court that must be visited to complete the ticketing process and make payments through the My Police application.
Fourth is SKCK Online, in this feature, users can take care of a police record certificate (SKCK) online without going to the police station. The fifth feature is Vehicle Documents. Through this application, users can make or extend a driving license (SIM) and vehicle documents such as STNK and BPKB.
Sixth, there is the Police Register service which is used for users who want to register themselves as members of the police force. In addition, this page includes tips and tricks and tips and procedures that must be followed in writing new members of the police force.
The seventh feature, namely Track Record, provides a track record of police activities that have been carried out. From this feature, the public can find out about the activities held by the police.
“My Police is also integrated with an android-based ultrasonic sensor that can be used as an accident monitor. The sensor design is installed in the front and rear bumpers of the car so that in the event of an accident, it will send data to the application,” explained Zuhdan
“We hope that the presence of My Police can optimize all police services to the community while increasing active communication between the two.” In conclusion (dta)
