PT. Miwon Indonesia is known as a company in the seasoning and food seasoning industry. However, it also produces by-products in the form of animal feed ingredients with the trademark organic protein.
As an effort to expand its business wings, PT. Miwon wants to develop his products as animal feed ingredients for non-ruminant animals. So it requires biological testing research to ensure there is no negative impact on livestock and consumers.
Therefore, the Faculty of Animal Science Universitas Brawijaya (Fapet UB) as an academic in animal husbandry is collaborating to carry out research on the application of broiler and layer animal feed ingredients through biological testing. The goal is to ensure that there are no negative impacts on livestock and consumers for which the results of this study can be legally justified.
The plan will be realized based on the cooperation agreement signed by Prof. Suyadi (Dean of Fapet UB) and Ir. H. Suratman, MM.MBA (Director of PT. Miwon Indonesia), Thursday (1/04/2021). The research location will be carried out in the nutrition and fodder laboratory and the Sumber Sekar field laboratory in Sumber Sekar Village, Kec. Dau Malang Regency. (dta)
