Dean of ASF UB: Online-Based Student Activities in 2021

Prof.Dr.Sc.Agr.Ir. Suyadi, MS., IPU., ASEAN Eng acting as Dean of the Animal Science Faculty of Universitas Brawijaya (ASF UB) emphasized that the implementation of student activities in 2021 will be carried out online.

According to him, apart from being a measure to prevent the spread of Covid-19 in the campus area, online application is so that the student activity work program continues.

“The faculty provides ZOOM meetings that students can use. Submission of a link meeting can directly contact the PSIK department, but must attach a license signed by the Vice Dean III or the Dean. ” said Suyadi.

The preparation of the work program in 2021 must be in accordance with the Student Rankings (SIMKATMAWA) announced by the Ministry of Education and Culture. So through non-academic activities it can improve soft skills and develop student achievement in the fields of reasoning student creativity, sports, arts, special interests, talents, entrepreneurship, and student welfare on a national and international scale.

This was conveyed by the Dean in a coordination meeting with students, Tuesday (16/02/2021). The virtual event was attended by the President and Vice President of the Student Executive Board (BEM), the Daily Executive Board and the Minister of BEM, the Daily Executive Board for the Student Activities Unit (UKM), and all members of the Student Representative Council (DPM).

“We hope that after the meeting, each LKM can make a work program according to the direction from the faculty and SIMKATMAWA guidelines. So as to improve the quality of students and graduates and make student activities more competitive and superior. ” he concluded (dta)
