BOS New Member Training to Foster a Sense of Kinship and Loyalty in Building a Spirit of Leadership  

Student Activity Unit in the entrepreneurial field named Barisan Orang Sukses (BOS) of Animal Science Faculty of Universitas Brawijaya (ASF UB) held the 10-th training for new members 2021, Monday-Tuesday (18-19 / 01/2021). The event with the theme “Fostering Kinship and Loyalty to Build Leadership in Organizations” was conducted virtually through ZOOM and was attended by 119 participants.

Dean of ASF UB, Prof. Suyadi in his speech while opening the event hoped that through this activity, both new and senior BOS members would gain insight that could foster a sense of kinship and loyalty in organizations. Besides that, it fosters business spirits so that in the future they can create jobs and grow into strong entrepreneurs.

 The first day of the training was filled with material presentation by the Organizational Advisory Board, including the history of BOS by Alif Tosan Adji Kirana Putra, leadership material by Afrizal Ramadhani Fauzi, and loyalty material by Desy Ma’rifatusa’dyah.

In order for the participants to remain enthusiastic and enthusiastic on the sidelines of the presentation of the material, they are invited to play the game Quiziz and guess the picture, which winner is entitled to a prize.

Then the activity on the next day was field training, participants were divided into 10 groups through a zoom breakout. They were treated to material on kinship, loyalty, and leadership. They are also given case studies so that activity, cohesiveness, andabilities problem solving can be assessed.

The activity was closed with the inauguration and pledge of the 10th training participants and marked that the participants had officially become new members of the BOS. (dta)
