Human Resources are the Main Capital for Develop Business 

One of the determining factors for success, profit and loss and the progress of a business, organization, institution, cooperative, even at the state or provincial level is Human Resources (HR). So it can be said that HR is the main capital asset.

However, Indonesia’s fertile geographical conditions gave rise to the philosophy of “whatever is thrown will grow”. As a result, the community is complacent about this idea so that in several sectors, HR development has not become a priority.

“Therefore, the development of human resource potential is very necessary, especially for small and medium enterprises to be able to compete in trade competition.” He continued, 

This speech was conveyed at the online graduation ceremony for breeders sesion II field school, Wednesday, January 20th 2021. According to Suyadi, the field school that was established in collaboration with the Agro Niaga Cooperative, Jabung is a step by academics in developing farmer skills and insights through teaching, mentoring and counseling.

There were 14 graduation participants who passed after attending lectures and exams. They are advanced students at the first level who are considered to have potential. The graduation procession was carried out by submitting a certificate by Prof. Suyadi to students.

“Even though it is plagued by the pandemic, this second session school requires online meetings but it is still running well, and we are very enthusiastic. Hopefully the knowledge we get will be useful for the development of dairy farming in Agro Niaga Cooperative Jabung. ” said Siska Norma Prasasti, one of the graduation participants

Meanwhile Dr. Ir. Tri Eko Susilorini, MP, IPM, ASEAN Eng as the chief executive or the head of the farmer field school, explained that currently livestock groups in Agro Niaga Cooperative Jabung have main problems that hinder livestock productivity, namely the selection of seeds and animal feed.

“This problem arises due to the lack of knowledge of breeders about livestock management. If it can be resolved, God willing, it will increase the productivity of dairy cattle. ” he explained. The

implementation of the field school has four levels. Among other things, at the first level, students were provided with materials on institutions, motivation, management, seeds, reproduction, sanitation, and so on.

In the second level, they were assigned to look for problems faced by breeders, then accompanied by a team from Fapet UB to find solutions. Then at the third level focused on studying business, and the application of industrial technology at the final level. (dta)
