Awarding winners of the BOS Startup Farm Competition 2022

After the judging last week, this time the committee is ready to announce the winner of the BOS 2022 startup competition. The awarding was carried out offline in the Auditorium room, 8th floor of Gd.V, Faculty of Animal Science, Universitas Brawijaya (Fapet UB), Saturday (8/10/2022). The event is packaged casually by presenting entertainment such as solo singers, dance, and home bands.

The announcement of the winners was made by the host, the first place was given to group 11 from Fapet UB which carried a work entitled “Utilization of Land Mapping Applications as an Effort to Fulfill the Availability and Ease of Access to Forage Feed”. Then through the work of “BIO-VESTILIZER”, the collaboration between Fapet students and the Faculty of Agriculture UB won second place. Meanwhile, the third place fell to group 2 from Fapet UB with the work titled Innovation of Complete Feed Chicken Layer from Rabbit Feces for Improving Body Performance and Egg Production.

Farm Startup is a competition to compile business proposals in the field of animal husbandry for all active students in East Java. Where it aims to optimize the potential of the younger generation in forming an entrepreneurial spirit. To prepare young entrepreneurs and encourage participants to express product ideas in real time to try to maximize post-pandemic opportunities. The event was initiated by the student activity unit in the field of entrepreneurship Barisan Orang Sukses (BOS) which is under the auspices of Fapet UB. (dta)
