Inauguration of Student Organization Leadership at the Faculty of Animal Science, UB: Embarking on a New Leadership Era

The Faculty of Animal Science at Universitas Brawijaya (UB) hosted an inauguration ceremony for various student organizations today (09/01/2024). In a solemnly conducted event, numerous young leaders were entrusted with the responsibilities of their respective organizations.

Surya Adi Kusuma assumes the role of the new Chairman of the Student Representative Council (DPM) at UB. With his vision and mission, Surya is prepared to steer the DPM into a new era, aiming to fulfill the desires and aspirations of the students within the Faculty of Animal Science.

Furthermore, the Executive Board of Students (BEM) at the Faculty of Animal Science, UB, witnesses a change in leadership with Nazwan Rizqi Prananda being inaugurated as its President. Known for his dedication and commitment, Rizqi is determined to elevate BEM to greater heights.

Moreover, various Student Activity Units (UKM) within the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, UB, have undergone leadership inauguration processes. Units such as the Scientific Student Group (KIM), Successful People’s Line (BOS), Cowboy Theater, MAFA Livestock, Pena, PKBR, EGP, and Music Barn now have new leadership ready to execute work programs and activities for the advancement of the organizations and student quality.

The significance of this inauguration was further emphasized by the presence of Prof. Dr. Ir. M. Halim Natsir, S.Pt., MP., IPM., ASEAN Eng., Dean of the Faculty of Animal Science, UB, who directly officiated the new leadership. Dr. Ir. Eko Widodo, M.Agr.Sc., Vice Dean III for Student Affairs, was also present, offering full support for the success of all student organizations within the Faculty.

In his address, Prof. Halim Natsir expressed his hope that all new leaders would work to their fullest potential, prioritizing integrity and realizing the visions and missions of their respective organizations. “Leadership is a trust, and trust must be executed responsibly,” Prof. Natsir stated.

Moreover, Prof. Halim, representing the faculty members at Fapet UB, extended heartfelt gratitude to the outgoing board members for their dedication, contributions, time, and spirit in advancing the Faculty of Animal Science, UB.

With renewed enthusiasm and dedicated young leaders at the helm, the Faculty of Animal Science, UB, is optimistic about witnessing numerous innovations and achievements stemming from the newly inaugurated student organizations.
