New Education Program 'Cangkrukan Together Community' Release by EGP

English Garden for Prosperity (EGP) launch Cangkrukan Together Community (CTC) and held first gathering for the CTC member on 21 May 2017. CTC is new educatiom program by sharing and practice English at public place. The motto is Learn Together From Zero To Hero.

President EGP, Wildan Triyadi officially launch this program in first gathering. He hopes this program can increase interest of learning english. It also as program to improve human resources to support AUN-QA acreditation of Animal Husbandry Brawijaya University.

Chief committee of CTC told in his speech that choosing word ‘Cangkrukan’ for branding the education system become easy going imoression. The motto From Zero to Hero describes that everyone allowed to join CTC. Althought, They can’t speak english. CTC help to learn english from zero ‘basic” and improve public speaking skill.

In the gathering, new members were divided become some groups to introducing and sharing with LO. LO anylisis method that comfortable to learn english by hearing their story. After that, some members tried to speak up using English in front of all member to tell about their self and experience in Malang.

Mr. Rony, as LO in gathering, speech about 2 principles to learn English. First, we must brave to speak up use English and do not worry if our sentence isn’t correct. Second, we don’t translate Indonesian to English. For example, we want to said ball, but we don’t know the Englsih. We can describe like this: This thing is used in playing football. And the shape is circle. People kick this thing to playing. At last, Mr. Ngalaul Huda, as LO in gathering, added one principle. It is ‘istiqomah’ or diligent. If we often use English, we will easy to understand it.

The agenda before clossing were writing in paper hope. Members asked to write their hope and suggestion for CTC. This paper hope used to analyst the learning outcome that hoped by member. The gathering ended by take photo together.(FAJRIN)
