Malang, March 28, 2024 – The Faculty of Animal Science, Universitas Brawijaya (Fapet UB), has once again produced graduates in the field of animal science who are ready to contribute to the workforce and elevate the name of their alma mater. The yudisium ceremony held today was attended by Prof. Halim Natsir as the Dean, Dr. Rizki Prafitri as the Vice Dean 1, along with department heads, interest group heads, the head of the administrative office, and the head of the administrative section. This significant event marks a milestone for 65 undergraduate students and 1 postgraduate student, who are now entitled to bear the titles of Bachelor of Animal Science and Master of Animal Science.
In his speech, Prof. Halim Natsir expressed pride in the students’ achievements. “Today, you officially become part of the Fapet UB alumni who have spread out and contributed in various sectors of animal science, both domestically and internationally. This is not the end, but rather the beginning of your journey to continue learning, growing, and, of course, elevating the name of Fapet UB wherever you are,” stated Prof. Halim.
Furthermore, Prof. Halim emphasized the importance of maintaining the good name of the alma mater and strengthening the communication network among alumni. “Maintain integrity and professionalism. Be a good ambassador for Fapet UB. I also hope you do not forget to communicate with each other, share knowledge and experiences, and support one another as part of the large Fapet UB family,” he added.
Dr. Rizki Prafitri, Vice Dean 1, also conveyed motivational messages to the graduates. “The knowledge you have acquired here is essential capital to face a challenging world. Use that knowledge wisely and see every difficulty as a stepping stone to achieve success,” Dr. Rizki advised.
The yudisium ceremony is not only a marker of academic achievement but also a celebration moment for the students, faculty, and staff who have navigated a long journey filled with dedication and hard work. The families and friends of the graduates present also provided support and appreciation for this significant achievement.
With the conclusion of the yudisium ceremony, the graduates are now ready to enter the workforce equipped with substantial knowledge and the values internalized during their time in college. The Faculty of Animal Science, Universitas Brawijaya, hopes all its graduates can become innovative, creative, and ethical leaders in facing future challenges and continue to contribute to national development, especially in the animal science sector.
