Malang, January 9 2024 – On Tuesday, Brawijaya University held a graduation ceremony in the auditorium on the 8th floor of the Faculty of Animal Science. This event was attended by 78 participants in the Bachelor of Animal Husbandry (S1) program who succeeded in obtaining a Bachelor of Animal Husbandry (S.Pt). Apart from that, 4 participants from the Master of Animal Science (M.Pt) program and the Animal Science Doctoral Program (Dr.) were also present.
In his speech, the Dean of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Brawijaya University, Prof. M. Halim Natsir, revealed that graduates in the livestock sector must have three important points, namely soft skills, hard skills and ethics. According to him, this is important so that graduates are able to compete in the world of work and maintain the good name of the Brawijaya University alma mater.
“A graduate must have 3 important points, namely soft skills, hard skills and ethics to be able to compete in the world of work, and maintain the good name of the Brawijaya University alma mater,” said Prof. M. Halim Natsir.
One of the special moments in this judiciary was the graduation of a participant from the livestock science doctoral program, namely Dr. Muhammad Syarif Djaya. Dr. Muhammad Syarif Djaya not only succeeded in obtaining a doctorate degree, but also served as Dean of the Kalimantan Islamic University (UNISKA).
The success of the graduates, including Dr. Muhammad Syarif Djaya, is proof of the progress and contribution of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Brawijaya University in producing quality human resources in the field of animal husbandry.
